Which SNP method should we use for 'Made to order' based scenarios?

Not sure what he is referring to, but SNP does Not support MTO. None of the engines do.

There is oss notes that talk about it.

But basically does it really matter? Just don't have a forecast in APO or configure SNP to ignore it.

Its not the same, but functionally similar.

for MTO strategy 20 is used so that sales orders can be considered as a requirement and consumtion of PIR

can happen by sales orders and not by PGI. Other than that there are no specific settings for flat materials ( non charecteristics based plannes CDP, VC).

If the idea is to have a VC or CDP scenario with MTO strategy SNP does not support that. That will be handeled thru ppds.

Both SNP heuristic and optimizer support the MTO scenario.
