How to initialise Default . Instance and Start profile in TA RZ10.

Hi all,

I have just installed SAP Netweaver 2004s- BI system. While i was checking TA RZ10 i wasn't getting any profiles- Default, Instane or Start..neither i was able to create it in the TA RZ10.although from OS level i have checked in usa/sap/SID/SYS/profiles

all these profiles are there in profile folder. How do i create these profile in my actual system??

Hi,

When you installed system, then first you have to import the profiles then it will show you these profiles. Perform below step then you will be able to see the profiles:

Go to RZ10 transaction then go to --> Utilities --> Import Profiles --> Of active servers.

By this way it will import the profiles and you will be able to see the profiles in RZ10.

I did dat and now i'm able to view these profiles also. But while doing so i got few errors like :

j2ee/dbname changes not permitted

Changes to DIR_PUT can result in problems

Unknown parameter j2ee/scs/host , a check cannot be performed

Unknown parameter j2ee/scs/system , a check cannot be performed

Unknown parameter j2ee/ms/port , a check cannot be performed

Unknown parameter jstartup/trimming_properties , a check cannot be performed

Unknown parameter jstartup/vm/home , a check cannot be performed

Unknown parameter jstartup/max_caches , a check cannot be performed

jstartup/instance_properties file /usr/sap/IBQ/DVEBMGS00/j2ee/cluster/instance.

Unknown parameter rdisp/frfc_fallback , a check cannot be performed

j2ee/instance_id not a numeric value ID0093980

Will these create any issue as i am getting qll the profiles now? Also How can i resolve these errors?

Hi,

These are java system profile parameters. So, often if you will do check of profile, it will show error in java profile parameters.

You can ignore warnings or error on java profile parameters.

Dear Priya,

wherever Dual stack system will be present when you will do the profile check it will show you warning on java parameters.
