time changes at OS (HP-UX) level, and reflect to SAP

Dear gurus,

It is found that some of our SAP systems are showing time as 1 day ahead, It is because at OS level (HP-UX) time is 1 day ahead.

My question here is, Is it sufficient for us to change OS timings? will SAP automatically reflect the time changes/ or do i need to restart SAP systems?

Thanks and Regards

Dear gurus,

The date and time change on the running system will reflect on your business transaction and data extracation schedules, both should be address after set date and time. The date and time will reflect on system after restarting the instances.

The application transactions use the ABAP processor clock, which uses the Database administration system on the database server

The system log uses the operating system clock on its own computer (as do all kernel levels below the ABAP processor).
