SAPehpi didn`t start

HI,

We stopped SAPehpi for a pause and when we went to restart it we got the folloing error message

> ./STARTUP

we also tried

./STARTUP jce_policy_zip=jce_policy-1_5_0.zip

but we gor the same error

worked for SUM - upgrade of portal!

/SUM/sdt/data/.sdt_keystore (deleted)

Hi Peter,

In order to resolve this kindly make a copy of the files .../data/.sdt_keystore and .../data/.sdt_storage

after closing the SUM tool and then delete these 2 files. Thereafter start the tool again. This should recreate the fingerprint again and resolve your issue.

go to /EHPI o /SUM/abap/bin and run ./SAPehpi reset prepare after that delete the directory SUM and execute again.

Thanks everyone.  This also occurred when I was using the SUM to apply EHP6 to ERP 6.0.  I ran out of disk space on C:\ and had to move the pagefile, and therefore reboot.  Deleting the file allowed the SUM tool to start again.

Have you given right password which you set initially starting SL controller first time ?

Hi Sunny,

SAPehpi asks for a password when you start it the first time and generate a keystore. (which we already did)

When you start it a send time it does not ask for a password but check the keystore already generated.

If the keystore become corrupted then SAPehpi give the above errors and we need to find a way on how to generate this keystore again.
