SRM 7.0 Installation

Hi,

I have some questions regarding SRM 7.0 installation..please help

1) Do we need to install both ABAP AS and JAVA AS with diffrent server for comlete installation of SRM 7.0 or it depends on requirement

2) Is there any other servers mandatory to run SRM 7.0 (for example EP etc..)

3) Whre I can get the URL for portal

Just wnated to know is this group is right group to ask Installation related questions or any other group (netviewer)

Hi,

It depends on your scenario.

Please check Component Scenario Matrix in http://service.sap.com/srm-inst.

AS Java is required for NetWeaver Portal, NetWeaver PI, SRM-MDM Catalog, Live Auction Cockpit.

Hi,

For SRM 7.0 - EP -Enterprise Portal is mandatory.

If you are having S Id you can check in service materket place.

Please check in this same fourm in Application server forum where all the BASIS related Q& A can be searched

In this forum mostly Functional consultant will be there..
