Hi,
We would like to install the PLM in our landscape. What is the pre-requisites for this.
We are running ECC6.0, is this can be installed on it. As per some standard guides it was observed that it requires EHP4. What are the possible options. Is this can be installed on standalone machine. Appreciate your views.
Regards,
Kris.
Krishna below are certain questions, guidelines, areas to be considered before thinking of PLM architecture.
u2022 PLM components being utilized.
u2022 Content servers and cache servers or any other ntk accelerators like river bed being used
u2022 Collaboration if you are using cFolders
u2022 Conversion engines if you are going to use document conversions.
u2022 Geographical locations being deployed.
u2022 Whether your client is going to access PLM from Enterprise portal or SAP GUI?
u2022 Number of users?
u2022 Whether access has to be given to design partners outside the firewall?
These are a good place to start, Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any specific questions!
regards,
C
