Reset Password of sap*

Hello All,

In our ECC 6.0 Oracle database I have executed the command:

delete from sapsr3.usr02 where mandt = u2018000u2019 and bname = u2018SAPu2019; & then restarted the ECC system.I can login with sap user id with password pass.I tried to change the password of sap* with ddic user id to T1erst but the system is saying "user sap* does not exist"..But I can still login with sap* & password pass.Please help me to reset the paaword of sap* to T1erst.

Hi,

You have to crate SAP* user again and give SAP_ALL authorization.

Dear Ashley,

Since you have deleted the SAP* user id thats why its user master data does not exist.
