Hello guys

min. to max ..how much time it will take to complete one bussiness scenerio like sending customer master data to MDM via SAP XI.

Is it compulsory to have BPM when we send customer data,master data and vendor data to MDM ?? or it is better to have different scenerios??

Hi Raj,

BPM is not mandatory , if your scenario have multiple sender/recivers or multiple validations then only we can go for BPM.

its purely depend on requirement.

Its not compulsory to have a BPM....it was just an example of set of objects/ activities which define the time-period required to complete/ test an interface

SAP provides content for standard scenarios for vendor and customer data. If it's just straight forward scenario, the entire setup shouldn't take more than a day.

Nobody from here can give you an exact prediction....it totally depends on the complexity, involvement of BPM, validations to be implemented (mappings), unit testing, end-to-end testing....each project has a deadline associated with it so check from your superior the time-frame allocated to complete this scenario....if we say you can take 5 days and if the allocated time period is 4 days you should follow the latter one
