Weight & Volume is Mandatory in VA01

Dear Gurus,

PLease guide in VA01 the weight and volume is mandatory here how can i change it. so i can save without implementation log for weight and volume

Hi,

Kindly go to the transaction SHD0 and create the variant and made the weight and volume fields mandatory .and assign the variant to the sales document type in T-code VOV8

see once u create the transaction variant ,kindly activate the same by going to standard variants

Add the fields in the incompletion procedure of the sales item level --t code OVA2

Assign the incompletion procedure to the sales doc type in the t code VUA2

Assign the incompletion procedure to the sales item categoryin the t code VUP2

VBAP BRGEW Gross weight

VBAP NTGEW Net weight

VBAP VOLUM Volume

Go to VOV7, select your item category and execute. There you can see boxes specific to these. Maintain tick there and save. Now try to create a sale order and without these data, you cannot save the sale order.

In the incompletion procedure of sales item,you can assign Weight&Volume fielsd to it.

The sales order can't be saved without Weight&Volume.
