Milestone Invoice Percentg

Hello Guru's,

I have an requirment were Under a WBS I have created 3 milestones.

1. WBS 1(T-0001.01)

2. Milestone 1 (InvoicePercentg - 25%)

3. Milestone 2 (InvoicePercentg - 25%)

4. Milestone 3 (InvoicePercentg - 50%)

the total InvoicePercentg of the three milestone is 100%

My requirement is if I change the invoice percentage as below :-

1. WBS 1(T-0001.01)

2. Milestone 1 (InvoicePercentg - 25%)

3. Milestone 2 (InvoicePercentg - 50%)

4. Milestone 3 (InvoicePercentg - 50%)

the total InvoicePercentg of the three milestone is 125%

Now, if the total of the three milestone is less than 100% system should give me information message & if it is greater than 100% system should give error message.

Can anyone suggest me how tackel this reqirement??

Hi Tushar Patil,

Have you defined the Usage of milestone and assigned to Billing Milestones?

One way to find out the exceeding billing %age is in SD area billing plan.

Progressive billings - Z00001

Final billings - Z00002

for first two milestones are with Z00001 then you need not to enter the %age of final billing since system will automatically calculate and let you know left out %age.

In case if you are exeeding more than 100%, while copying the billing plan to SD, system will show value with negative sing in billing plan in SD.

Alternatively, You can develop validation rule to give an error message if exceeding billing %ages.
