Entry missing in Integration Engine (sxmb_moni)

Dear all,

We have a Synchronous scenario from SAP ECC --PI -- Database.

A synchronous outbound proxy is trigeered at EC to send some data to PI and from PI to Database.

We are not able to find an entry in PI-SXMB_MONI.Where as , wer are able to see a enty in Adapter Engine, but when we try to view the messages, it says "Content of message deleted to save memory"

On the whole, we don't see any entry in sxmb_mnoi, but we have entries in RWB for the request and response flows. And as such there is no error for this interface in PI.

What could be the reason for this. Kindly share your thoughts.

The issue was corrected after applying a patch at the Integration server level

Hi,

I'm able to view the messages for other synchronous interfaces in sxmb_moni. So the option being suggested "Synchronous monitoring might be disabled on your PI sever." is ruled out.

Any other thoughts!!

can you look at the integration engine configuration sxmb_adm -> Integration engine configuration -> specific configuration and check the value of the configuration for Category "DELETION" -> Parameter "PERSIST_DURATION" -> sub parameter "SYNC" ?. - If the value is 0 then increase it.

Synchronous monitoring might be disabled on your PI sever.

Successfull Synchronous messages will not appear in sxmb_moni - if there is an error , it will be reported in sxmb_moni. This feature (?) was introduced after certain sp level - not sure of the correct version.
