Unable To import DEBMAS06

hi

We have extended IDOC DEBMAS06 with a custom segment. But when we try importing the same in XI it gives the following error:

DEBMAS.DEBMAS06.ZDEBMAS06: Error

+ Error: IDoc type DEBMAS06 contains errors (unable to read segments)

+ Error: IDoc type ZDEBMAS06 contains errors (unable to read segments)

So we also tried importing the original IDOC DEBMAS06 which is without any custom segments, but still we get the same error.

We are unable to understand the root cause of the problem and how to fix the same.

Any help is welcome.

yes we did release the new segment in we30 .

we removed the custom segment and then tried to import just the basic idoc but still get error:

DEBMAS.DEBMAS06: Error

+ Error: IDoc type DEBMAS06 contains errors (unable to read segments)

Have u done the error check for the idoc DEBMAS06 and also hope u have released the idoc also...

We have released the IDOC, where else can we check if the IDOC has errors

Hi Anand,

Did you check the IDOC in we30 (press F7 button)?

What do you get?

HI Anand,

Just do error check for all the segments (WE31) and IDOC (WE30) by pressing F9 and also check whether all segments are released...

if same can u let reply again...

I did the error check as mentioned.. and there are no errors

We even tried importing DEBMAS05 but got the same error:

DEBMAS.DEBMAS05: Error

+ Error: IDoc type DEBMAS05 contains errors (unable to read segments)

Another interesting point is.. we are trying this on R/3 5.0, if i try importing DEBMAS06 in R/3 4.7, It gets imported successfully.
