XSLT mapping

HI,

I have read in the blogs that we can created target structure using XSLT. My requirement is such that i need to create a flat file from an IDOC. i do not want to use FCC, so thought of using XSLT. how can i create flat file using XSLT, and what should be the target structure in this case.

If you are a specialist in XSLT, you can easily create a flat file with XSLT mapping.

If not - better choose other alternatives.

If you chose XSLT mapping, your target structure can be any dummy structure. A data type with one element or so.

HI ,

i am very new to XSLT, but need to do this mapping. please can you refer som blogs or post that i can refer to.the requirement : it is idoc to flat file scenario where i have to create a flat file structure using XSLT mapping.

Hi,

XSLT Mapping will supports 3 output formats XML,HTML and TEXT.

You have to select output method as Text,its very easy to write XSLT Mapping,

you require can be achieved using XSLT,even i had done without FCC using XSLT,

you cant see taget payload in MONI.

If you are a beginer refer w3schools to gain XSLT knowledge.

Create XSLT Mapping using Stylus Studio, it is easy.

Just give source message type & target message type & map the same.

hi,

when u say that the output structure can be any dummy structure can u please let me how it should be. also plz let me know any blog or article where there is reference to mapping of XML to Text using XSLT.
