Wanted Features for transaction SPAM / SAINT

Hi folks,

i was just thinking about features that would be nice to have in

transaction SPAM. Fell free to throw in additional ideas.

Hopefully SAP will take them into account for future development.

First of all: I'd like to have an automated Configuration Check

for SPAM/SAINT/SNOTE that should work like the Service Prep Check in SDCCN

or Report RSECNOTE to check prior the start of SPAM if important notes are not

implemented, like a missing correction of Note 1283197 or other important notes.

Whoever ran into a BSEG conversion because of a missing 1283197 knows what I mean.

Second: I'd like to have a logical Object "Import Queue" which defines the

exact content of a queue and what SPDD/SPAU Transport have been assigned to them.

In case you have to split a stack queue in i.e. 4 pieces for technical reasons, it would be

most helpfull, if I can store some documentation related to a specific queue, like i.e what

manual corrective actions needed to be done to resolve a problem.

So that I can store iInformation in a way like (this is to be considered an example):

Stack Q1/2010 Part 1 -> contains:

SAP_BAS 6.40 SP17-SP19

SAP_ABA 6.40 SP17-SP19

SAP_BW 6.40 SP17-SP21

Related SPDD Transport: None

Related SPAU Transport: SIDK9000123

Problems:

- ACT error on Table MYTAB because of missing DTEL (Note 1234567 Vers 5)

- XPRA error on Report RSABCDEF because of missing number range customizing (Responsible: SMITH)

Stack Q1/2010 Part 2 (splitted because of Note 2345678 Vers 34) -> contains:

SAP_BAS 6.40 SP20

What else do you like to have?

Volker
