Settings for Data transfer

Hi,

Please explain me the settings/configuration to load the data from R/3 to APO.

If I am not wrong ,we give path name in info package if the data is to come from flat file. What about data from R/3?

Hi Prabhat,

you can choose the option for R3 data source in transfer rules in Infosource and then assign the required R3 data source to infosource. It is advisable to replicate the R3 datasource in APO BW also.

yes, you are correct, if you would like to load the data from a flat file then you need to choose the option of flat file in transfer structure of infosource. Also ensure the data needs to be in the same sequence as the KF sequence defined in Infosource.
