Hi Experts

When m looking standard config of free goods, i c condition type NA00 assigned to pricing procedure and access sequence.

bt m nt able to locate it in condition techniquies.

What is difference bt the three : R100, NRAB & NA00

As I know, there is no relation between NA00 & R100 / NRAB.

NA00 is a cond type ( is not a price condition type), which has record about the material & free goods material with certain controls,

Where as Cond type: NRAB & R100 are pricing cond types, which have control on pricing of free goods materials.

*R100 - is only activated for Exclusive free goods & 100% discount offered to the free goods materials.*

*( including-- Free goods for the same material with item generation --*

eg:

1)Mat- M1 - 100Ea, free goods-Mat -M2- 10 ea ,

in Sales order -

10 -M1 - 100 ea - Price applies for this 100 ea qtty)

20 -M2 -10 ea ( free- R100=100% discount)

Mat- M1 - 100Ea, free goods- 10 ea with item generation,

in Sales order -

10 -M1 - 100 ea - Price applies for this 100 ea qtty)

20 -M1 -10 ea ( free- R100=100% discount)

Similarly,

NRAB - is only activated for Inclusive materials. which means pricing will be charged excluding the free goods qtty of the same material.

Eg:

Mat- M1 - 100Ea, free goods- 10 ea without item generation,

in Sales order -

10 -M1 - 100 ea - Price applies for this 100 ea qtty)

then pricing will be calculated for 90 ea ( 100 - 10 free = 90)

NOTE: This NRAB is not applicable for credit memo's-

so what was the purpose of assigning it(NA00) to pricing procedure.

Note NA00 is a discount type assigned in free goods determination procedure NA0001 not in pricing procedure

When you create condition record for free goods in VBN1 a discount type NA00 is used

R100 and NRAB are used in the main pricing procedures for the system to sense to make appropriate discounts for those line items and to make them free

R100 condition types picks up both inclusive and exclusive types

NRAB condition types picks up inclusive without item generation

I have explained in many threads what is the difference between R100 and NRAB with business examples

NA00 is Discount type, where as R100 is condtion type (100% disocount and no access sequesnce exits)

NA00 locates in freegoods pricing procedure where is R100 in in original pricing procedure

You cant create condtion record for R100 conditon type, this works based on requirement 55 and 28 alt bas cal.
