Solved: JSPM upgrade

Hello All,

We need to upgrade our ECC 6.0 Kernel from 133 to 238 in HP-UNIX.Whether we need to upgrade JSPM version also.

Now JSPM is 7.00.18.1 we need to upgrade to 7.00.20.1.Is it necessary to upgrade JSPM after kernel upgrade??What extra features will I get in the new version 7.00.20??

Hi,

if you are going to upgrade kernel by using JSPM then u need to check the dependencies of your kernel with the existing JSPM version. as juan said always its a better approach to keep your JSPM version at heigher level is a best practice.

You can dowload the JSPM file from http://service.sap.com/support~~->download-SAP support packages~~>SAPNETWEAVER7.0~~>link to SP stack application~~> then u need to select support package stack as per your requirement. in support package stack u can get the JSPM file like the below.

JSPM21_0-10003470.SCA SP21 for JAVA SP MANAGER 7.00

or else one simple thing you can do.
