comparision between BO Universe Designer & BEx Query Designer

Hi,

I would like to know the common features in Business Objects XI Designer and BEx Query Designer, also

- Feature which are availabe in both the tools

- Features which are available in BO XI Desiner but not there in Query Designer

- Features which are available in Query Designer but not there in BO XI Desiner

I really thankful if any one could help me on this....

As I said these are not comparable tools. In fact you can use the Universe designer to build universes based on BEx queries which have been build using the Query Designer.

What are exactly your reporting requirements? You have to use the Universe designer if you want to use Web Intelligence to report on an SAP BW system so the question is if Web Intelligence fits your reporting requirements.

Hi

BEx Query Designer is an OLAP tool. Web Intelligence is an ad-hoc reporting tool. These tools must be considered to be complementary and not competitive to each other.
