PGI error

Hi All,

While doing PGI I am facing an error" status of atleast one serial number for item is not allowed".Pls suggest to over come this and doing PGI?

Hi Mr. Gupta,

Please check the serial number the status should be like ESTO (Available in stock), SLOR (Assigned in sales order) and EDEL (Assigned in delivery) if this three are in the status then there should not be any problem.

Please confirm.

Seems, serial number status in serial numbers you have selected is not allowed for PGI- as message says.

so check the status of all serial numbers which you have selected in when performing PGI in Tcode:IQ09.

I have checked the status of S.no and it is avail for del...and let me know any other way to over come the error

Hi,

Check the serial numbers of all the materials that you have entered.

You can check them through IQ03, see the status of these serial numbers.

Reassign them in the delivery and proceed further.

Hi,

It seems a serial number assignment problem in delivery, pl re-assign te serial number in the delivery item level and then try to do the PGI.

Hi,

Select item in delivery >>> got EXTRA Menu >>> Serial number

If u are not using serial numbers then

Go to material master and remove serial number profile from sales genral plant data tab
