ER1 Report

Dear Experts,

Please throw some light on the following points:

1) Manufactured and cleared quantity is same in ER1 report.

Kindly some one explain me what is the meaning of cleared quantity? Whether it is manufactured-sold quantity or something else.

2) Duty amount is calculated for Export also.

Kindly let me know whether Export Excise duty amount should flow in ER1 or Not.

If No, what could be the reason for export duty amount flowing in to ER1.

Thanks & Regards,

Reji

ER-1 is one of the excise returns for availing CENVAT credit which will be submitted month wise.

This will mainly be based on chapter id and the data to be furnished are

a) Opening Balance

b) Produced with duty

c) Produced without duty

c) Quantity sold with duty

d) Quantity sold without duty

e) Closing balance

Quantity cleared means whatever the plant has produced and stored in FG should also be treated as cleared apart from the quantity sold.

In exports, since duty is exempted, you can show the corresponding chapter id and declare it as zero duty in the respective column.

Dear Sir,

We need to customize the report or can we use the standard report available in the system?

We are actually using the standard report but not getting the exact output.

Can you please suggest us whether we need to go for customized report or can we use the standard one?

Thanks & Regards,

Not sure on the standard report but as you said, I dont think, it will meet the excise requirement exactly. You can very well check with the end user on standard report and get their confirmation. If they are not accepting to it, then you have to go for zee development.

thanks

Dear,

Standard report is not working & not meeting the excise department requirmnent.

You have to develope customise report to meet the requirement of local excise department.
