Hi all

thanks for the replies

Yes, this is our production client and the client role is set as production in tx SCC4

so I should not make any changes to the client settings

Thanks all

Hi all,

I think my problem was solved now

After sending message to SAP, SAP gives me 3 notes : 163897, 208746 and 33582

I follow notes no. 163897 :

Make the following system setting in one of your development systems/ test systems:

Call Transaction OOCR.Set the flag TRSP CORR = 'X' in Table T77SO (= Deactivating the automatic transport connection).

I post detail step by step how to remove that pop up on my blog [http://saplover.wordpress.com/2010/02/03/client-300-has-status-not-modifiable/]

Hope it can help other people who had the same problem

thanks all

Hi,,

You need to change the client setting in SCC4 as below:

1. Automatic recording of changes

2. No changes to cross-client Customizing objects

3. Protection Level 1: No overwriting

4. eCATT and CATT Not Allowed

Your problem will be resolved...

Hi

I think that what you are looking for is in transaction SE06 --->System change option.

There you need to filnd the correct namespace or software component that is relevant and change it to modifiable.

In case you just want to check if this is the right solution you can:

while in SE06

1) Temporarily change the global setting to Modifiable

2) Edit --->Software Compnents Modifiable

3) Edit ---> Namespaces Modirfiable

4) Save

This will change everything to modifiable. After that check whether the users are still receiving the pop-up.

Best regards

Hi Adhi

I've check SE06 and I found that all the software components and namespaces are modifiable already

so it didn't solve my problem

In that case i think ashish singh is right - you need to use SCC4 and switch options to:

- Changes with automatic recording

- Changes to repository and cross client Customizing objects allowed.

However - this is not recommended on a production system due to the fact that users will be able to customize the system without going thru the SAP recommended cycle: DEV --> QA --> PROD.

Use at your own risk.

Yes this is our production client

I think we don't need to change the setting in scc4 just because that transaction, right?

For example PA30, this is just Maintain HR Master Data

Current setting for scc4 is :

No Changes Allowed

No changes to cross client customizing objects

Protection Level 1 : no overwriting

eCATT and CATT not allowed

Thanks
