Delivery Groups and not allowing partial delivery of those items

How do I prevent line items that are in a delivery group on the sales order from creating a partial delivery when using VL10*.

I have them grouped because they are part of a sales BOM.

For example I have the following items in a delivery group

To make 1 kit it takes 1 of Part A, 1 of Part B, and 2 of Part C

Part A - Qty 1

Part B - Qty 1

Part C - Qty 2

A delivery will not create if All of Part A & B are in stock and none of Part C.

I run into the problem if there is a all of Part A & B in stock and a partial of Part C. VL10* will allow the delivery to create for Qty 1 of Part A and Qty 1 of Part B and Qty 1 of Part C. We need for the delivery to create only if all the lines/quanities in that delivery group are available.

How do we set SAP up for this?

I have looked at FAQ note 546719 and others on delivery groups and do not see how to address this issue.

hi vicky,

i think you can solve the problem, if you dont allow partly deliveries on the positions a, b, c.
