Central Services instance Missing

Hi,

We are installing XI 3.0

We have applied till the Kernel Patch successfully. After that...

The SAP_<SID>_01 service is not starting. As a result of which we could not find the Central services instance in the MMC.

What could be the reason for it?

Ayone who has faced the same do let me know as to how to solve it.

Hi Siva,

First of all this situation is not only because of kernel upgrade.

I have not even applied kerenel patches. I have resterted the server machine, when my VA and IR and RWB got hang. After logging into SAPMMC i see only SAP<sid>_00 service is running . After that when i restarted my machine again and installed my sap frontend freshly, then the same service is running perfectly.

I can understand you must be going through different scanerio, but i just thought of sharing my exp. to you.
