universe-middleware missing..how to add??

Hi BO gurus,

Hope u guys doing well.

I have problem of middleware selection.I have tried to create a new connection in universe and my data source is in MS Access 2002,So i selected the database node microsoft and when i want to select the middleware MS access,i could not find the middleware for ms access and select the data source drive(ODBC drive for ms access).

So,whats the issue i could not figure out,is due to not proper installation or can we add maually the middleware for ms access.If so let me know steps..Waititng for ur valuable suggestion...

Keep the BO CD with you, (If necessary will use it)

Follow the below steps:

1) From start -> Control panel ->Add or Remove Programs ->select the Business Objects and click on "Change" -> Modify

2) -> Expand the "Database Access", -> Click on the Harddisk symbol for the "Microsoft" ->

3) select the "Entire Feature will be unavailable"

4) Repeat the step 2, select the "Entire feature will be installed on local hard drive"

This will install the Microsoft drivers.

did you create an odbc connection with your database?
