Hi,

Can anyone tell me how to start config tool in Windows?

I tried from the below path

/usr/sap/SID/JC<instance number>/j2ee/configtool

and run configtool.bat

But nothing is happening.

Is there anyother way to start config tool?

Please suggest.

Regards,

Do your run that as <sid>adm? There may also be an entry in the program group (start - programs...) if you log on as <sid>adm.

- logon as <sid>adm

- open a cmd.exe

- step to the path you gave

- start configtool.bat

Hi,

If you are logged in as Administrator, still you can run configtool as SIDadm..

Here is the way...

1. Open Command Prompt.

2. type "runas /user:sidadm cmd"

3. It will open new command prompt, which is running in the previledges of SIDadm.

4. step in to the configtool directory and run "configtool.bat"
