diagnostics configuration in solman_setup~

Dear Expter,

When I'm doing the Solution manager solman_setup-->basic configuration,

during the automatic configuration-->diagnostics configuration occured an error.

503 Service not available

Can anyone give me some suggestions how to solve this problem??

Hi,

Please check whether the services are active under "/sap/bc/bsp/..." or a "sap/public/...". Also, try for a test connection there.

I don't get it?

I checked server manager>>Services,All SAP prefix service are started except sapccmsr.00 need to startup manual.

I don't understand where i can find the path of service sap/public....

umm...i check the services with tcode sicf,

but not sure what service should activated.

Hi,

503 Service unavailable errror generally occurs when the portal server could noto access the oracle database. The database should be up. Can you please check that. The Listener should also running on the server.

Also check trace/log files, dumps.

Finally you can re-start the system for the result.

Thanks for your reply,we're using MS SQL 2008 as our database,

and the DB running fine.

not sure what's going on still.
