Hi Experts,
Currently I am working on Dashboard project, I have a small confusion on OLAP universes. Let me explain the scenario:
In this project we are developing 5 dashboards and data source for these dashboards are BW queries. For five dashboard, the related information are available in 5 InfoCubes in BW and as per dashboard requirement, we totally developed 15 BW queries on 5 InfoCubes. To bring these 15 queries to BOBJ, we generated 15 universes on 15 queries. My question here is, is it possible to build a big universe on top of all these 15 universes. My client is asking, for each BW query if we create universe, for example if I have 100 queries then we should create 100 universes. So why cant we create a single universe on all the BW queries or single universe on all the universes (using linked or any concept).
Can anyone help me on this
Thanks & Regards

Hi,
Currently there is no way to create linked OLAP universes neither to build one single universe on multiple BEx queries.
If you want to achieve this you can build an OLAP universe on an InfoCube (MDX access) or buil a relational universe with Data Federator or multiple Infobues (SQL access).
Both solutions have some restrictiions.

Didier
