I am facing a peculiar problem. We are upgrading our system from SAP 4.6C to ECC 6.0. For manufacturing we use MES here. We transfer data to MES from SAP via PILLS.
The problem we are facing is sometimes the data reaches MES and sometimes not. When it doesnt reach MES it is stuck at PILLS. The interface setings for transferring data are ok. The encoding foprmat in 4.6C was SJIS and in ECC6.0 is UTF-8.
Can anyone tell me why sometimes data gets transferred and sometimes not.
We tried changing settings in WE21 from Unicode to SAP Release 46. These settings worked fine with ECC system which is non unicode and these settings do not work with ECC unicode enabled.
Can anyone help me with some pointers on this.
