ID PARAMETER in SU01

Hi,

I'd like to know how can I do to define a new custom parameter (and its values) displayed and selectable in the Parameters TAB of the SU01-Maintain User- transaction.

A PID, if I recall correctly is tied to the underlying Data Element which you can maintain in SE12. If you have an existing, or a new Data Element in mind you should be able to add it but just to say adding it to a new data element is safer than an existing one as it could always be overwritten later on by a hot pack, upgrade, or something. To maintain a new PID itself I am pretty sure you can goto TCode SM30 and put in table TPARA and give it a code and a description.

It's been a looong time since I have done it but that looks right.
