Importing IDOCs

Former Member

We have an IDOC to XI to File scenario.

The home grown PO IDOC has been used in two different interfaces. Interface 1 in SWC1 and Interface 2 in SWC2.

Now, if I want to Import my IDOC into the Repository in which SWC should I need to import. I know its not a good idea to import IDOC into SWC1 or in SWC2.

Probably I need to import this IDOC in a Central place in the Repository and then whereever I am using I need to refer that.

Please advise thanks.

Hi Rohini,

Import into one SWC and then use it. For this you can go with dependency or it is better to have SAP_APPL component as mentioned in the ealier post.

Check this for dependency-

Rohini,

The is something called dependency while defining SWC and SWCV in SLD.

When u have dependency between 2 SWC, u can use the objects in these SWCV.

I am not pretty sure about this, please check this option also. And let us know if it worked.

Hi,

I import indeed the IDOC's in a the SAP standard SWC 'SAP APPL/SAP APPL 4.7' ( which is in our SLD )

From there, I use in them in other SWC ,
