Reg : Table Data Modification in DPR_PROJECTS Table - cProjects

Hai Friends,

I am working on cProjects.

In dpr_projects table i want to change data for the 'Released On' Date field ie system generated data. How can i achieve this....

I have tried with BAPI_2172_CHANGE . But, it is not supporting my req.

Presently it is 2010... I want to change it as 2009....in table.

Hi Veera,

there's nothing to add to Matthias' reply. As no user interaction other than releasing the project is intended to set this date, there is no other means to change it.

So, the only way to change it, would be manually tweaking the table record and this is really not recommended.

The issue is bcos of migration. Actually some projects were created last year 2009. This year after migration table data was not copied. So, we once again created the projects this year ie 2010. So, the released date is 2010.....

I want to have the projects released data as 2009 only as it was originally created in 2009 only.I have developed a report based upon this...

Hi Veera,

Could you explain us why you want to update this date. As it's automatically set by the system as Release of the project, I don't think it's possible to update it without a manual change (not recommanded at all!).
