hii guys,
im performing system copy,when ever im dng exports from source system it shows error as
ERROR 2010-01-25 13:27:28
FJS-00003 TypeError: ci.getInstanceDir() has no properties (in script NW_Prepare_Export|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 66872: ???)

FCO-00011 The step createSystemPropertiesFile with step key |NW_Prepare_Export|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Java_Prepare_Export_Dialog|ind|ind|ind|ind|5|0|NW_JAVA_Export_PREPARE|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|createSystemPropertiesFile was executed with status ERROR .
i tried a lot but i did nt get the solution can any one help me
my system details are
win 2003 server,oracle 10g database,
netweaver 04s sr2 stack 17 applied
Hi,
We had the same issue and we found out that there are wrong entries in /usr/sap/sapservices file.
After removed of the entries the export could continue normally.

Did You got solution to your problem.We are getting the same problem
An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.0 including Enhancement Package 1 Support Release 1 > Software Life-Cycle Options > System Copy > Oracle > Source System Export > Central System > Based on AS Java > Database and Central Instance Export( Last error reported by the step :TypeError: ci.getInstanceDir() has no properties (in script NW_Export|ind|ind|ind|ind, line 73064: ???)).

Hi Peervali Syed,
Goto sapinst directory (eg. \sapinst_instdir\ERP\LM\COPY\ORA\SYSTEM\CENTRAL\AS-ABAP)
1. look for control.xml.
2. open it using notepad.
3. search ORACHECK_PAR.
4. delete row.createDB = false
5. stop sapinst
6. re run sapinst then select continue previous installation.
It works for me.
