Is GRC Access Controller 5.3 compatible with NW 7.1

Hi Gurus,

I know that pre - requisites for installing GRC Access controller 5.3 is

NetWeaver 7.0

Application Server (AS) SP12

(ECC 6.0, NW04S or 2004S)

Is that compatible with NW 701 or 710 version also?

apriciate if will get any referance link , document for latest compatible NW versions with AC 5.3

Hi Rupali,

I have installed GRC AC 5.3 on 7.01 (Net weaver 7.0 With EHP1) in 2 clients place...

We are not faced any specific problem.

that means you have your java stack at 701 level and is having Access controller components as 700 release SP10

I can not see 701 version components for Access controller VIRCC, VIRAE, VIRRE, VIRFF

Yes Java Stack 701..

It wont show you 7.01....

Its a JAVA components..if you have access to SMP..and have license for AC 5.3 ..

Then you can go

Rupali,

As of SP10, NW7.01 is supported for Access Control 5.3. You will not see components with *_701 in SMP, but you will see *_700, which is supported on NW7.01.

This is not to be confused with BASIS710, which is not the same as NW7.01.

From the looks of this thread everyone seems to be saying that there isn't a compatible GRC AC 5.3 version using NW7.10. Is that true?

I have a 7.10 server available now and I really don't want to go "backwards" and create a "new" 7.01 version.

Have you looked into the delta upgrade? That's what we had to do.

That means you have NW 701 java application server with below components deployed:

VIRCC00_0.SCA

VIRAE00_.0SCA

VIRRE00_0.SCA

VIRFF00_0.SCA

Please clarify about component versions for both Java applications and AC 5.3

Yes you can deploy the same componetnts ,,but these are base components...

You can deploy SP10 ...(latest One)

I'm having an issue with the RTA on ECC 6 SP12. The VIRSAHR 530_700 complains that it needs SAP HR 600, whereas the version installed is SAP HR 604 SP12.

Do you know how to resolve this issue?
