Hello All,

After the client export by scc8 3 requests are generated by <SID>KO..<SID>KT & <SID>KX.If I import KO request only from STMS target system whether other requests KT & KX are automatically added in the correct order??Or we need to import all the requests indivitually??Moreover I have one more doubt why we need to run SCC7 after importing the requests from STMS??Why post process import steps need to be carried out??

Hello,

It is absolutely necessary to import all requests in one time.

SCC7 has to run because all these post processing steps are not included in the transport requests, they only contain data.

Post processing also happens during a local client copy, but then it is included in the client copy phase itself.

During export/import, this is done in 2 phases, first the import followed by a manual start of the post processing phase (running BDLS, regenerating roles, some customizing, ...).

Results of the post processing and status can be followed via tcode SCC3.
