Material Inspection description

hi SAP,

currently we are having Rejection Invoivoce script.

For blocked material or rejected material, want to display the reason for

rejection of material. What is the field for inspection description and Table ?

I beleive you'll find it in QASE in the short text field if you are looking for the inspection text for a failed characteristic.

Hi SAP,

After GR , material is sent for quality check. (T-Code QA32,QA33) .

Some material is get rejected and blocked.

we are using script ( standard Programe is SAPM07DR and custamized script)

to get the Rejection Invoice Cum Challan which disply

the the rejected material under that GR.

we want to write the REASON FOR REJECTION on that Script.

Is , it possible ? ( under one GR , many materials can be rejected

due to different reasons )

Whcih table should pick the reason ?

Will you please elaborate where exactly you mention these rejection remarks? In inspection short text (in QA02), or at the UD long text or at MIC rejection documentation or whether you are using Document tab just adjacent to Block stock in QA11 transaction?

In T-code QA32, select the record and go to the TAB RESULTS. Under RESULT column , give

the code 02 for rejection and and a Sigma sign will appear. double click on sigma

a new screen will appear in that there is a column INSPECTION DESCRIPTION.

FOR REJECTED MATERIAL , i want to display the reason at bottom .

Under on gr , several materials are get rejected. is it possible to write the reason for each ?

Hello Ravi,

I am putting a hypothetical case here. Correct me if something goes wrong.

1. You have in warded 10 different types of materials under same GR.

2. Out of these 10 materials say only 3 are non confirming to quality norms specified by you.

3. In inspection plan of these 3 different materials you might have defined 4-5 MICs rather less or more than that. Sampling procedure you might be using say fixed 3.

4. According to this plan to have to carry out RR in QA32

5. Now each of these parameters has different or same reason of rejection. So for one lot there would be 15 line descriptions. (15 figure may vary parameter to parameter as per case)

6. According to me it is not possible. Even if one prepares the report it would not be that analytical. It would be more or less inspection result report.

Why donu2019t you try to utilize short text that appears in QA02. After executing QA32, select the inspection lot and click on Inspection Lot just adjacent to Results. There type your remarks in short text. This is very well available in QA33 report.

Another way is to record defects per characteristic wise, or operation, inspection lot wise. These will be displayed in QM15 report.

I checked the QA33, and find that the inspection description for rejection is maintained in

Struct. QAQEE

Field name PRUEFBEMKT

want to know the table for the same records.

I indicated QASE as the table you needed, but that would be the table if you used physical samples.

Look at QAMR table, field PRUEFBEMKT.
