We have designed a 2*2 label with material,batch,serial number and quantity barcodes.
We use EAN 128 and ZPL language printers.
The issue is we are able to scan the serial,batch and quantity barcodes very quickly but for materials with alphanumberic barcodes.it is taking 3-4 scans to actually read the quantity which is not acceptable in actual production.Can you please suggest what is the basic checklist ot see if the barcode was configured properly like the width,length,darkness,etc....

My suggestion is test different barcode symbologies for that particular barcode until you find one that is acceptable...
