Hi,

As connection test is successful, So I think there is no version mismatch between SRM MDM UI application, java API and MDM Server. However, I feel you are using Wrong user ID/ Parameters to Access the Application. The Config UI Application can only be accessed by user having Role "(UI) Configuration Manager". Please check again with the correct User and Password and revert with the result.

if the problem still continues, then we shall wait for more experts comments.....

Shiv

Hi,

The Login failed error's gone (I was using an incomplete repo)...however when I try to access the link:

I get a message saying:

Catalog application cannot be launched. Please contact your Sytem Administrator.

the link: http://<SRM server>:8082/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcmdmsrmcat~sortutility/SortUtility?

&

http://<SRM Server>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcmdmsrmcat~uisearch/MDM_SRM_UI_App

Hi Saba,

Could you tell what exactly you did to get away with Login failed error? What do you mean by - "(I was using an incomplete repo)"...we are getting the same error.

Thanks for your response.

Hi Pravin,

First of all you need to ensure that you download all the patches with the same version (i.e. MDM Server, Console, SRM-MDM Catalog, Java API etc. should be in sync). Your connection test should work fine.

What I meant by an incomplete repo. was that I had created a new repo due to which I was getting this error.

fter downloading the repo available on SMP, things worked just fine.

Thanks,

S

Hi Saba,

Thanks for your help. I figured out the issue. In our case, we had no version mismatch, all the right versions of sca files compatible with MDM 7.1 and SRM-MDM Catalog 3.o were installed.

This is what I was doing wrong. In SRM, Integrated call structure I was not putting the correct Repository name. There were two Repos and I was putting the first Repo name here and was accessing Repo from SRM where I created Catalog user.

Name of Repo in integrated call structure should exactly match with the Repo where Catalog user is created.

Hope this resolution will help others facing Login failed issue.
