Hi WD expert,
I'm facing an issue with textEdit length and the cut & paste.
My TextEdit is binded to an attribute of context which have limit of 180 chars.
When I cut & paste text from clipboard which length is over 180chars :
on IE7 : it works correclty the text over 180 chars is truncated
on Firefox 2 or 3 : the text over 180 chars is not truncated (--> error message when an action is performed, not accepted by end users)
Have you an idea to perform the same behaviour between IE and Firefox ?
My Version is Netweaver 7.0 SP20
Thanks a lot
PS : Forgive my english

Hi
Yes as suggest by Armin .
UI behaviour is different in IE and Firefox . have a look on given thread [Portal Performance using IE, Firefox and Chrome|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/10899] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];
