Hi Experts,

Please explain me the benifits of Object links and how to attach an object?

I an trying to attach a doument to MARA, but whenever I am trying to view the doument through object link it is diplaying an error as"No document found with this parameter".

Please explain me how to attach a document to an Object.

Hi,

The benefits of Object link is you can use object link feature to view document from any other object like Material, WBS, Sales Order etc.

you can create DIR at once in a DMS using (CV01N) the upload the original documents

Now you can link the DIR to your object like material, WBS, ets.

now you can go to perticular object can can view the attached documents.

Hi Ritesh

Follow the steps:

1. Go to DC10 t-code, select your doc. type.

2. Double click on Define Object Links

3. Add Object MARA for your doc. type (You can add other objects too, based on your business requirement)

Now you can attach DIR to MARA from two places.

1. Through CV01N/ CV02N t-codes. Go to Object Links tab. Click on Material Master tab. Add the material.

2. Through MM01/ MM02 t-code. Select Basic Data 1/ Basic Data 2 view. Click on Additional data. Click on Document data tab. Here you can give you Document Type & Document.

That's all. You are done with attaching the document with object MARA.
