Forecast in AFS

How to work Forecasting process in AFS, I extend Forecast view in Material Master. calculated forecasting values based on 12 months historical values.

I executed the forecast. But AFS MD04 not showing the demand and also AFS MRP not considering the forecast values.

I maintained MRP type as PD and changed to VV, still not working

Please suggest me

Hi Deepthi,

I want use forecast based planning, referring 36 months historical data, i want to forecast for 12 months.

in Standard R/3 using MP30.

how to handle this in AFS??

Hi Sunil.,

Occur in AFS no use exist DP but is not a functional from forecast, the major use to product team in SOP an translate this quantity from structrure an still right now distribute for quotes in DP for each SKU´s.

Hello,

Have you tried using the transaction J3A1? You can enter the forecast values using this transaction for the AFS material and also specify the grid/category. After entering the values, activate the requirements and this can be seen as demands in the transaction /n/afs/md04.
