Hi,
If there are several customer service agents processing orders with the same material, availability check will be blocked. Hence no check will be carried out...
What is the best practice for this? How do we handle in SAP such that orders pending will be in queu for availability check instead of re-running checks manually later..
no reply... not standard

HI
In this IMG activity you define for each checking group and initiator
whether the material master record should be blocked for other orders
during the availability check. If it is blocked, you cannot create two
orders for the same material at the same time.
Using the Initiator field you can define the block separately for sales
and shipping.
If you select this field, the material is blocked during the
availability check and other users cannot:
o Make changes in the material master record
o Create purchase orders for the material
o Create orders for the material
T- code OVZ1 in that you maintain the block as per the below combination
availability check initiator block

Hi,
In t.code OVZ1, you can uncheck the block for the checking group. This will remove the blocking of the material during multiple users doing availability check.
However you may not get reliable results sometimes.
