Why xkwert and not xkawrt

I'm seeing example that use xkwert to the set the condition base value in a routine instead of xkawrt

Can someone explain why xkawrt would not be used since kawrt is the condition base value in konv ?

I thought xkwert is the actual condition value

From my experience, the fields sometimes are not filled in as expected (by their name). As an ABAPer, I usually carefully examine several examples before making a decision which field to use in a particular configuration. The field usage may change from one condition to another.
