Creating an InfoCube from A DataSource

Hi All:

I have a DataSource which is a backup of a Planning Area. I replicated this into another BI system. Now I need to create an InfoCube and load the DataSource into it. Question is, can I show how create an InfoCube based on this DataSource- not manually but by some utility that just uses the DAtaSouce to come up with this InfoCube? Or is it possible at all?

Hi Ryan,

To create infocube from datasource go to transaction /SAPAPO/MSDP_ADMIN->select planning area->change->

menu 'extras'->data extrtaction tools->here press the button 'data backup'->'generate infocube from planning area'.

This way system automatically creates infocube from planning area.
