Hi,

Yes ..as said above..if it is a service user then remote login will not show any messages or errors...

in this just test the connection .. it should be fine...no need to change the password here...

Hi Madhu,

Please check below Urls.

If you have entered "hard-coded" a service user in the RFC destination and NOT a dialog user then remote login won't work, because service users cannot login with SAPGUI.

Remove the hard-coded user and try again with your own valid dialog user for target system. Then it should work.

Hi,

Cross check that the details provided are correct like client and host name ...

if still not able to logon ..then change the password of R/3 to capitals (which should not be more than 8 chars ) and try....

To which version of the SAP R/3 you are trying to connect to ?

is that 4.6C..? if yes then

Is the password more than 8 char ? (reduce it to 8 chars)

is the password in small cases (Change it to Capital)

then try connection test after providing the chagned password...in RFC destination

Target system is PI 7.10.

Hi!

Then please check SM21 System Log on target system and/or activate RFC trace for that connection using transaction ST01 in target system.
