while am raising sales order for intercompany billing am getting "No business area can be determined for item 000002"

Check if you have the item defined in both business areas, ie: in table MVKE.

Hi,

Business Area is maintained in IMG setting in Enterprise Structure.

IMG> Enterprise Structure>Assignment>Sales & dsitribution>Business Area Account Assignment.

1)Define Rules By Sales Area:

001 Business area determination from plant/division (T134G)

002 Business area determination from sales area (TVTA)

003 Business area det. from sales org/dist. channel item div.

2) Assign Business Area To Plant And Division

First mainatain the Rule for for setermining the Business Area and then mainatin the business Area on the basis of rule you have mainatained.
