Any exchange of data between SAP is through IDOC which is collection of SEGMENTS and its FIELDS. Each SEGMENT has a MESSAGE TYPE reciever and sender. You can convert any SAP Application into WS, as we can convert FM's to WS.

How can you convert SEGMENTS to WS????

Hi Shiva,

In general you can use following options for data exchange between CRM an BW based on SOA technology:

Transferring Data Using Web Services:

Hi,

ESOA or SOA is based on webservice concept where information exchanged using webservices.

Your requirement is too generic, in order to help you first find out what information you want to exchange b/w BI and CRM.

But word of advice if it is SAP systems then it is wise to use ALE/RFC etc to exchange data NOT services as they are expensive in communication.
