How to make a field mandatory in vd52

Hi,

I have a requirement to make the field KDMAT (Customer Material) Mandatory in VD52 , at where we made configuration change to make this field mandatory

Hi,

Through screen varient or Transaction varient you can make it required entry

t-code SHD0

Under screen varient tab

Put

screen varient name - XYZ

Program - SAPMV10A

Screen - 300

Create

You will face field name

find KDMAT & MAKE IT REQUIRED.

I created a screen variant and by test running in SHD0 it is working but while running VD52 directly it is not working

Hi

Go to SHD0, and select the tab Standard Variant.

There you maintain the transaction Code VD52 and Name of the variant which you have created and then activate it by clicking the activate push button --> Save.
