Delivery without Reference

Can anyone tell me in which scenario delivery without reference(LO) happens?......Thanks in advance......

Hi,

There are situations where delivery is made without creating sales orders.

In certain business, the supplier will send the materials without getting order from the customer; this will happens in textile business; this is called as u2018open orderu2019 in the business jargon. When supplier has produced some new varieties on their products they will send them to their reputed customers without getting order from them. This type of delivery will happen when the supplier has good understanding with the customer.

There could be a situation,

where, when you walk-in , in any store, you may find some brouchers which can be take away & used for promotion.

its just an eg:,

to accounted all these brouchers issued,

you can go for delivery w/o order reference. create dummy ship to party.

enter brouchure as material,if you still want to track , you can change the address as required.

this delivery w/o order reference, may or may not have billing.

It can be used for Free of charge (Sales Promotion) delivery.

Delivery without reference is done in case of NRGP(non retunrable gate pass).

Goods can be credited from the inventory without doin invoice.
