Hi all, I am beginner for the SAP solution manager. I just want to know whether SAP solution will expose any interface, so that we can able to get the information stored and controlled by the SAP solution manager. To be more clear, One of the functionality of the SAP solution manager is to monitor and administrate the services connected to it. Is there any way i can able to get the information of the alarms, configuration and events through an external application? Is there any interfaces exposed by the SAP SM? So i can implement those interface to get the information.
Anyone please answer my questions.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Yes, you can connnect Third-Party applications to SolMan bidirectionally via SNMP traps.
For an external service desk and any other apps you can even follow the SPRO, SAP Solution Manager Implementation Guide ->SAP Solution Manager ->Scenario-Specific Settings ->Third Party Integration
Best regards,
Fernando
