Hello friends,
I have questions on message mapping.
In the target message i have two structures. Second one is duplicate of first one. The generated output find below.
for example:
<record0>
<Empno> 100 </Empno>
<Empname> me </Empname>
<Empper> 90 </Empper>
</record0>
<record1>
<Empno> 200 </Empno>
<Empname> me </Empname>
<Empper> 90 </Empper>
</record1>
<record0>
<Empno> 100 </Empno>
<Empname> me </Empname>
<Empper> 10 </Empper>
</record0>
<record1>
<Empno> 200 </Empno>
<Empname> me </Empname>
<Empper> 10 </Empper>
</record1>
My question is how to sort the segments <record0> & <record1> based on Empno?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Thanks
Ravi.
Suraj/all,
Already i tried that, by sorting on the Empno. In this case the Empno were sorted at individual segment.i.e <record0> empno were sorting similarly <record1> empno were sorting. But we need to sort on both <record0> & <record1>.
Requriment: for each Empno in the source we requried to generate two segments varies in the Empper value.
Thanks
Ravi

It is not possible to have nodes in alternating order like:
record1
record2
record1
record2
with the graphical mapping tool. If you need this order for example for file adapter content conversion, you have to assign a helper node for that purpose:
row
record1
record2
row
record1
record2

Hi,
During mapping itself you can sort the field <b>Empno</b>
Right click sort function and change it to lexographical case (insensitive) and ascending (or numerically if the field is number).
